Please find below an update on where we (Jude Security) stand in the current situation and the work that can be carried out during this period of lock down.

Firstly, the most important thing is the protection not only to our staff but to our customers as well. We have been waiting for clarity on where we stand on current work, new work, call outs / testing and most importantly, are we classed as key workers ?

After much consultation we now have a clearer definition as to the type of work that can or cant be carried out.

No new work can be carried out – this includes work already booked in or new installations required, with the exceptions to fire alarms.

Emergency call outs can and will be carried out.

All fire alarm maintenance will be carried out, on the agreement of entry by the customer.

ON ALL CALL OUTS THE ENGINEER WILL HAVE A MASK, GLOVES AND CLEANING ALCOHOL TO BE USED AT ALL TIMES.

Our office will remain closed during this difficult period, but our main phone line has been diverted to an engineer who will be more than happy to help.

Important news

As from Monday 23rd of March Jude Security will not be carrying out maintenance or unnecessary calls until further notice

All emergency and fault calls will be responded to as per normal by an engineer. The engineer will have with him at all times hand sanatizer and cleaning alcohol for cleaning all equipment they are required to touch or work on, face mask and gloves – this practice has been in place for the last two weeks.

Equipment will be cleaned before and after use, thus not only protecting the engineer but customer as well

All calls currently booked in will be carried out with the permission of the customer

Many small faults can be cleared by the engineer over the phone or with the customers permission we can dial into the alarm. If this is carried out, there will be no charge to the customer

Pyronix have updated there app as part of our ongoing maintenance commitment for HomeControl+ Apps. There is now an update available on the App Store and Play Store. In order to continue to use the full function of the HomeControl+ App, please update your Apps as soon as possible.
